Project Management

Our project management services are not only broad in scope, but are based upon extensive experience we have refined our own set of procedures, processes and control mechanisms. All of that experience is manifest in our project managers, a highly skilled and knowledgeable group of Proact personnel.
Project management services include two key elements:
  • Project Analysis and Planning
  • Coordination and Management
A successful project occurs because someone develops a plan of action then implements that plan methodically. We believe that project analysis and planning is very critical to our project management services. During the analysis and planning process we thoroughly review:
  • Project Requirements and Goals
  • Third Party Interfaces & Dependencies
  • Scope of Work, Schedule and Budget
  • Project Parameters & Complexities
  • Site Conditions / Critical Measurements
  • The Volume of Work
  • Technical Issues
  • Resource / Workload / Logistics
The result is a plan that takes into account all the project conditions, contingencies and requirements, one that allows us to ensure that no detail or deadline is missed. Our plans and schedule are always written and submitted to all pertinent project parties. As conditions change, we update our plans and make sure they are communicated to all members of the project team.
Yet another important part of our project management services is the coordination and management of the resources and processes that are required to complete the project on time and on budget. Our knowledge of the construction trades, professional firms and typical project processes allows us to interface with all the members of the project team. We attend all project meetings, review all project communications and thoroughly examine all project documentation that relates to or interfaces with our portion of the work. While our main focus is on the installation of the furniture, we take responsibility for ensuring that the construction trades, electricians and data/cabling subcontractors are able to interface with our schedule in a manner that allows for the successful completion of their scope of work, as well as our own.
